Set your computer to turn off the display after 5 or 10 minutes of inactivity. You can do this under the power options in the control panel. Sleep mode uses less than 5% of the computer’s full power mode and will help reduce power consumption. |

Even when not in the sun you can still charge your devices via USB or car charger. For a reasonable price you can buy a 4 watt solar power bag which will extend your devices energy.
